District Attorney

Purpose

The District Attorney is the chief prosecuting officer for the State of Georgia within the Conasauga Judicial Circuit. This Circuit covers both Whitfield and Murray Counties. The District Attorney represents the State of Georgia in the trial and appeal of criminal cases in Superior Court and delinquency cases in Juvenile court of the Circuit.
